Lets just say my eyes went square after making this! I started this mandala by pencil drawing a slim triangle segment of a rainforest mandala I had previously made. I then scanned it in and edited it on photoshop, taking the background away and making it darker (easy stuff.) I then opened the photoshop file in illustrator and had the tricky part of lining it up in the rotation! I was changing it by 0.1 mm at a time and playing with the point that I was rotating around, until I eventually got it! I'm going to see how this looks screen printed and if I like it ill be turning it into tshirts to sell at my exhibition on the 27th.
