Artist Book

I made a concertina artist book to showcase the digital versions of my mandala. The two toned orange book cover cloth compliments the mandalas as orange is repeated in all the mandalas i've used. I opened the book with a quote from Michael Shermer, stating “Humans are pattern-seeking story-telling animals, and we are quite adept at telling stories about patterns, whether they exist or not.” I closed the book with a rhetorical question from Charles darwin, "What can be more curious than that the hand of a man, formed for grasping, that of a mole for digging, the leg of the horse, the paddle of the porpoise, and the wing of the bat, should all be constructed on the same pattern, and should include the same bones, in the same relative positions?"
