I recently surprised my boyfriend with a trip to the O2 Star War exhibition that is about to finish. The exhibition was great but didn't take long to get around. I've wanted to start making illustrations of things I do, like a dairy, so hes a quick one of the real Yoda puppet. Using coloured pen and mainly cross stitch to shade.

Red Bird of Paradise
I was late to the party and have only recently started catching up on 'Planet Earth 2.' It was amazing, as expected and I fell in love with the Red Bird of Paradise. The males are amazing colours with black ribbons on their tails. To attract a female they do a dance, the brighter, the bigger and the longer the ribbons the better. I just had to make a painting of the male bird. I spent a few hours painting the A4 sized sketch I'd made and cleaned the image up on Photoshop.

Aztec for a Startup Fashion Brand
I was asked to design a print inspired by Aztec Sun stone carvings with Comme des Garcons eyes. I hand drew the design and played around with it using Photoshop. Inverting the design, I made several screen prints.

Disney's Cinderella Castle
I spent my first visit to the house pencilling in details and organised paints I needed so that the next visit I could get started. The piece still has a little way to go but I'm extremely happy with how it's turned out. Below are some of the progress pictures that lead up to the "After" photo above.

Memorial Portrait
I drew a portrait of my grandad after he sadly lost his battle with cancer. The piece is a portrait of him and I've surrounded him with some of this things that made him who he was.
